When changing the battery in the Rover Lucas 17TN YWX101220A remote key fobs you must follow the procedure below:

1. Open the Key Fob casing.
2. Remove the old battery carefully.
3. Press both of the buttons one at a time for at least 10 seconds.
4. Fit the new battery, positive "+" side facing upwards.
5. Re assemble the casing of the Key Fob.
6. Press the lock button (the right hand button) 4 to 8 times next to the vehicle the press the left hand button once.
